We recommend charging daily for 15 minutes or until the LED is green to ensure you have about 24 hours of battery. It may take longer if charging via a computer USB port or when the battery is empty.

There are three ways to check battery status:

1. Tap Menu > About > My Transmitter. Scroll down to the Battery Level line that indicates amount of battery power left.
2. Check the battery symbol in the upper right corner on the MY GLUCOSE screen. A red battery icon indicates the smart transmitter battery is empty.
3. Power ON the smart transmitter. Tap in the center of the transmitter once. The LED will blink once. Orange indicates less than 24 hours battery life remaining. Green indicates about 24 hours or more battery life remaining.

You do not need to change the battery. The Eversense^® 365 Smart Transmitter has a rechargeable battery and is reusable for up to one year. After one year, the warranty expires and the transmitter should be replaced with a new transmitter.

In the short term, it will not damage the Smart Transmitter battery if you leave it on the charger after the LED light has turned green. Over time, battery capacity will naturally slowly decrease. To preserve long term battery capacity, it is recommended to disconnect after the battery is done charging.

For lithium polymer batteries (like the one inside the Eversense 365 Smart Transmitter), it’s better to  remove it from the charger as soon as the transmitter LED light changes to solid green to minimize stress on the battery over time.

To clean your smart transmitter, wipe it down with a water dampened cloth. Dispose of the cloth according to your local regulations.

You will receive on-body vibe alerts when you have reached the glucose alert levels you have set. You will also see the alert or notification on the Eversense^® 365 App.
